ReplyDeleteI am a fairly new follower. I have just started following with my quilt blog rather than my kitties blog (Angel and Kirby). We had foil packs or hobo dinners last night. Hamburger patty, Slice of onion, potatoes and carrots, seasoned with a powdered soup mix. Wrap in foil, sealing it well. Bake for 1 hour at 400, or on the grill or over a camp fire! It is a Girl Scout favorite!
ReplyDeleteOh wow those are sweet fabrics! I am now a follower altho I have read your blog in the past as well. We've had corn/kielbasa chowder, chili, home-made barbecue chicken pizza, and roast beef over the past week. Trying to regain my cooking mojo! annesimonot@sasktel.net

Well, I'm a brand new follower here... so nice to meet you. And thank you for offering up a great giveaway!! Last night we had homemade meatloaf, baked potato, baby peas and biscuits. After a long week at work, it's the perfect comfort food to start a restful weekend!! Be especially blessed, Kathy
ReplyDeleteDee, I am an old follower of both new and old blogs! Last night we went out to eat and had antipasto pizza and carmelized apple and cranberry salad, they were delicious! I love the colors in this giveaway, but they are not something I would usually buy - you know how I love batiks!
ReplyDeleteI'm an old follower. Last night's dinner wasn't very exciting - I bought a frozen pizza from a guy at work who was selling for a fundraier for the fairground. We baked it and it was great, though!
ReplyDeleteDee, i don't need the fabric but thought I would tell you my dinner. We had white chicken chili. I used ground chicken, cannelli beans ,chicken broth and cream of chicken soup. Added some chili peppers (for bill) and spices and let it cook for hours. At the end I took some of the juice, and another can of beans and pureed them to make the soup thicker. Very tasty and not too spicy for me. Jan
ReplyDeleteLove the luscious, lemony colors! I made Chicken Parmesan last night. Very quick and easy meal! I usually will use a jar of sauce, but didn't have any so I just made a quick sauce. Some diced tomatoes, a can of sauce, tomato paste and seasonings to taste. Chicken breast fried, make up the sauce and simmer for a bit. Add some mozzarella cheese to the top of the chicken right before serving. Cook up some of your favorite pasta. Fix a nice tossed salad and I'll be at your house for dinner :)And I'm a follower for at least a few weeks now :)
ReplyDeleteNo blog :( But I did pin it on my pinterest! And if it's not a acceptable entry, that's ok. Still like to share cool blogs :) http://pinterest.com/pin/53761789274014320/
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!! That fabric is so adorable! Would make a cute quilt for my future niece!!
ReplyDeleteAnd unfortunately I only had pizza last night. :/
First, I cannot even tell you how much I love this line from JD!! I bought the purple/violet colorway for a quilt for my niece for graduating high school. I had some naan and humus for dinner tonight because I just had a little oral surgery and cannot really bite down with my front teeth (sorry a little TMI)....I would defintely recommend some butter chicken and naan from an Indian restaurant, if you have one around....DELISH!!!! YUMMO!!! If you try it, I'd love to hear if you liked it or not!
